This actually happens from time to time. I thought I would celebrate the first use of my awesome little cheap gas grill with another grilling comic, like I once had, so long ago… about a year ago, actually. Keep comin’ back folks, because we’re gonna keep on makin’ these bad boys.
We are still rolling out more and more content here at We Live in Atlanta. It may be a bit slower than usual, but that’s just due to the focus we have on WTBDignity, as well as other paying gigs. We still have many more stories to tell, and places to go with the comic, as we have no intention of stopping anytime soon… or ever, really. As long as strange stuff keeps happening to us, we’ll continue to hammer these bad-boys out for your own personal pleasure. As for the other work… well, let’s just say that we’re wrapped up in some more freelance gigs. Do they have anything to do with comics or animation? No. But, I am writing for them, which is nice.
Speaking of animations, Our animatic is coming along nicely. If only I could get Mr. Weisner to work on it a bit more often… who knows.
So today we don’t have a comic, but we do have this animation made using the cast of We Live in Atlanta. Check it out. We are whoring ourselves out to commercial production… so, if you need a commercial for the web or broadcast, and want it live action, animation, or a combination of the two, contact us over at Hawk vs Pigeon and we’ll work something out… as long as you pay us.
So, recently, Project Wonderful has added categories to their websites, for easy browsing, bidding, and the like. This places both WLIA and WTBD under the “web comic” category. The interesting thing about this new feature is that it implemented category specific requirements to be accepted for ad-space with project wonderful. One of which was this: a web comic needs at least 30 pages posted to get accepted. 30. Now, if you’ll take a look, WTBDignity isn’t at 30 yet, and has been using Project Wonderful wince October last year. Needless to say, that means that We Live in Atlanta won’t have any Project Wonderful ads on it for months still to come… months. That sucks. On the up side, Google Ads doesn’t care. Once I got one domain approved, the other one was butter. That’s all I really have to say about that, I suppose.
We Live in Atlanta is up and running! This is the site of the future webcomic entitled “We Live in Atlanta”, brought to you by Hawk vs. Pigeon Productions. Check back frequently for updates, as we hope to be putting up comics very soon!
